Welcome to the world of Savannah Yarbrough.

Hello, my name is Savannah Yarbrough. Isn't that just the thing. I feel like I'm wearing one of those hideous stickers on my chest. Not an attractive sight, doesn't matter who you are.  

So, this is the first entry on what I hope will become a popular blog. That's a lot of pressure right there, I'll just tell ya!

Where should I begin? I have always felt that the direct approach is the best so, here we go, jumping in with both feet. 

Savannah Yarbrough. Who is she? Well, that's simple. She's a woman embarking on a new life for herself. One who has a dream, and she's going for in with all barrels blazing.  Savannah (that's me, just in case you're wondering) lives in the Southeastern United States with her two children and insane toy poodle. Craziest dog, while managing to also be the cutest, to ever walk the face of the Earth. That's the official by-line biography. 

I, Savannah, began writing when I was very young but heaven help me I was too afraid to ever let anyone read what I wrote. It wasn't until I fell into the world of fan-fiction that I became brave enough to put my writing out there for others to see. I know that there is much debate about the talents and the validity of those authors crawling out of the wood work from the world of fan-fiction. I won't debate the point. I will only say that while there is a lot of junk produced, there is also a great amount of wonderful work done as well. As well as some very talented writers who have ventured out on their own into original fiction. Sometimes we just need that feeling of safety that is provided with using someone's basis in which to cut our proverbial teeth. Not unlike a parent and a child's relationship, yes? 

I have written and posted stories in the fan-fiction world for nigh on five years now. If you've followed me over from that world-and I hope you have- you may know me as bellasunderstudy.  

I have recently completed my first original fiction novel titled Starting Over.  
Starting Over is set to release on December 31, 2013. It will be available as an e-book. You may purchase Starting Over at your favorite e-book retailer.
